How can I upload a presentation as LMS material?

The Sesame Learning tool lets you upload presentations (.pptx, .ppt, or .odp) directly to Materials so your team can review them within the LMS, slide by slide, without the AI reinterpreting the content.

Steps to follow

  1. Go to LMS, open the Materials tab, and click the Upload presentation button.

  2. Drag and drop or select your file in .pptx, .ppt, or .odp format (maximum 50 MB).

  3. Wait for the material to go from "Processing…" to "Available": the system automatically converts each slide into an image. There's no need to stay on the screen while you wait.

  4. Once it's ready, the material is saved in the Materials list with the "Presentation" label, ready to be used in any course.

Please note:

  • Once uploaded, the content of a presentation cannot be edited or replaced. If you need to correct something, delete the material and upload the corrected file again. You can, however, edit the material's name and description without re-uploading it.

  • Speaker notes, animations, transitions and embedded videos aren't kept: each slide is shown as a static image. If your presentation relies on these elements, summarise that information directly on the slides before uploading it.
