How do I import a SCORM course?
From the LMS module, you can import SCORM packages directly, without needing to recreate the content in Sesame. The course is uploaded exactly as it is, without processing the content with AI.
You have two ways to do this:
Option 1: from the Courses section
Use this option if you want to create the course and upload the SCORM content in a single step.
- Access the LMS from the side menu, under Talent.
- Go to the Courses tab and click the Create course button.
- Select the "Upload SCORM" option from the selector.
- Drag or select your .zip file and wait for the system to validate and analyse it. You'll see the upload progress on screen.
- Confirm the course creation. You will be redirected to the course detail page to complete the metadata.

Option 2: from the Materials section
Use this option if you want to upload several SCORM packages first and build the course afterwards using all of them.
- Access the LMS from the side menu, under Talent.
- Go to the Materials tab and click the "Upload SCORM" button.
- Drag or select your .zip file and wait for the system to validate and analyse it. The title, description, and version will be filled in automatically.
- The content is saved in the Materials list with the SCORM label, ready to use in any course.
- When you create or edit a course, you'll be able to select that content from the library without having to upload it again.

⚠️ Please note:
- The file must be in .zip format, exported from a tool such as Articulate, iSpring, or Adobe Captivate.
- The maximum file size per package is 500 MB.
- The system automatically detects the package version (SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004).
- The content of a SCORM package cannot be edited within Sesame. If you need to update it, you can replace the file from the Materials tab.
