Is it mandatory to use geolocation for clocking in/out?

No, you can choose whether geolocation is required when clocking in or out. In Sesame, you decide if the system should request coordinates when employees clock in/out, whether from the web panel or the mobile app.

To activate or deactivate this option, follow these steps:

  • Go to Configuration >> Device.
  • Select the device you want to configure (web panel or mobile app).
  • Enable the option "Require coordinates to clock in/out from mobile".

Keep in mind: when a clock in/out appears as "Remote", it means the action was performed outside the established range.
