Can I block requests or overlapping clock ins/outs?
Yes, and it's very simple! Whenever Sesame detects that repeated clock in/out requests are being made, whether by the employee or the administrator, it will first block the process, and then it will display a warning message explaining the type of overlap, so that both the administrator and the employee can handle the problem.
Sesame will display warning messages in the following cases:
1. When the administrator assigns a clock in/out that overlaps with a pending request, a warning message will appear to notify the administrator. If the administrator proceeds, the pending request will be automatically deleted.
2. If the administrator tries to assign a clock in/out that coincides with another clock in/out that has already been approved, Sesame will block the process and will not allow the assignment to continue.
3. Similar situations apply to the employee. If the employee’s request coincides with another clock in/out request, a warning message will appear, and even though the first request is pending, Sesame will not allow to continue with the second request, and will block the process.
4. The employee will receive a message when their clock in/out request and the approved clock ins/outs overlap. The process will be blocked and the request will be rejected.
