Can I customise the email template for my announcements?

Yes. From Announcements configuration, you can personalise the design of the email your team receives every time you publish an announcement.

First, make sure the "Send announcements by email" box is ticked. If it is, you'll be able to use the "Configure email template" button. 

Clicking it opens a real-time preview where you can adjust the design and check exactly how the email will look before sending it.
 

What you can customise

  1. Subject line: define the subject text with a maximum of 80 characters, or use the {{announcement_title}} variable to automatically include the title of each announcement in the subject.
     
  2. Company logo: choose between the logo already configured in Sesame or upload a new one (up to 25 MB). Adjust its size without needing to edit the image in an external application. Please note that if you haven't configured a logo for your company, the Sesame logo will be used instead.
     
  3. Company name: customise the name that appears in the email. If you have a group of companies, you can use the group name.
     
  4. Sesame logo: choose whether to show or hide the Sesame logo in the email footer, and adjust its size.

When you're done, click "Save changes". 

If at any point you want to restore the original design, click "Reset to default".
