What are overtime balance rules?
Compensation rules are used to add value to hours worked; in other words, they multiply the value of worked hours, generating a bonus that can later be compensated.
You can create a multiplier rule from the Schedules section in Configuration. Follow this path: Configuration >> Schedules >> Overtime balance >> Multiplier rules >> Add.
When creating rules, you'll need to specify:
- Rule name.
- Start and end date.
- The days on which the rule applies.
- Whether it applies on weekdays or public holidays (for both options, you’ll need to specify which days).
- Compensation coefficient.
- When you want the rule to be applied. You can choose between:
- Always.
- Based on theoretical hours.
- Based on overtime hours.
- Outside the scheduled hours.
