How to request an Overtime Balance absence?
There is another type of absence in Sesame, which is the result of the Overtime Balance. Employees who generate a positive balance by having worked more hours than they are theoretically supposed to can choose to compensate for this time through an absence.
To do so, it is essential that the administrator has configured this option. You can find out how to do this here.
Employees with a positive balance can request an Overtime Balance absence. This option will be displayed on the dropdown menu along with Absence and Leave from Work. Depending on the employee's situation, a specific balance will be available for this absence.
