What is Overtime Balance?
Overtime Balance is the Sesame system that records an employee's working hours and stores a positive balance if they work more hours than required, and conversely, generates a negative balance if the employee works fewer hours than their assigned theoretical schedule presumes they should complete.
The Overtime balance serves as a reference to determine whether the employee needs to work additional hours to meet their theoretical time or if they should be compensated for extra hours worked beyond their required schedule.
Positive hours can be compensated through time off by requesting an absence or through remuneration, always depending on prior configurations set by the administrator.
