How can I report a post or a comment?

If you see a post or a comment in Community that you think is inappropriate, you can report it so that the people in charge of moderation can review it.

Steps to follow

  1. Click the three dots on the post or comment.
  2. Select Report content.
  3. Write the reason. This is required.
  4. If you want, point out what you find inappropriate: click a word to highlight it, or drag to select a whole phrase. Click again to unhighlight it. This is optional and only available on a computer.
  5. Confirm the report. You'll see a notice that it has been sent successfully.

The people who manage moderation can see who made each report and the reason they wrote.

Keep in mind

  • You can report from a computer and from the app.
  • You can only report each piece of content once.
  • You can't report your own content.
  • Reporting doesn't hide the content: it will remain visible until it has been reviewed.

Reporting in Community is for flagging inappropriate content in the channels. If you want to communicate a serious or confidential situation, use your company's Whistleblowing channel.
