Do I need to share my location to clock in/out with Sesame WhatsApp?
If your administrator has enabled the option to record your workday with Sesame WhatsApp*, when you send the action you want to record (clock in, clock out, or pause), the system will ask you to share your location before continuing.
What do you need to do? Share your location just as you would with a friend:
Click on the 📎 icon >> Location >> Current location.
That’s it! The system will check your location and determine whether you’re working remotely or on-site.
If clock-in restrictions are enabled, the system will verify that your location is within the radius around the workplace defined by your administrator. If your location is valid, your clock-in action will be recorded. Otherwise, you’ll receive an error message, but don’t worry, you’ll have two more attempts to record your clock in through Sesame WhatsApp.
