Why can’t I log in to Sesame?

If you’re having trouble accessing your Sesame account, here are some quick solutions you can try. Follow these steps to get back in as soon as possible:

 

1. Check your password

 
  • Is it a typing error?
    Make sure Caps Lock isn’t on, and double-check that you’ve entered all letters, numbers, and symbols correctly.
  • Did you forget your password?
    If you don’t remember it, click "Forgot your password?" on the login screen. We’ll send you an email so you can reset it.

 

2. Confirm your invitation email

 
  • Did you receive the invitation email?
    It’s required to activate your account. Check your inbox and your spam folder just in case.
  • Can’t find it?
    Contact your company administrator so they can resend it. They can also check that your email address has been entered correctly in the system.

 

3. Check where you’re trying to log in from

 

Are you using the mobile app or the web version? If you’re using the app, make sure it’s updated to the latest version:

  • Download for iOS.
  • Download for Android.

 

4. Common error messages

 

"User not found": this may mean that the email you’re entering isn’t registered or contains an error. Contact your administrator to verify that your email address has been correctly added to the system.

 

5. I don’t know how Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) works

 
  • If it’s your first time logging in and you see a code after entering your details:
    Click here to learn how to use 2FA and complete the login process.
  • Can’t access your account because of 2FA?
    Contact your administrator; they can reset your settings so you can activate it again.
