Can supporting documents be attached to absence requests?

Yes, you can! When employees request time off, they can attach one or more documents.

To allow employees to provide documents when requesting time off you need to enable the "Allow for attachment of supporting documents" option when creating this time off and choose whether this document is mandatory or optional.

As admin you'll see a warning of those time offs that are pending to be justified in your employees' time off section. There you can add the supporting document yourself or ask your employee to do it.

Employees can autonomously upload it. They just need to click on the notification they receive to do it.

Supporting documents from the history

Employees can upload supporting documents through the history section which can be found in the time off calendar.

How to access? Click on the clock icon next to “Request.

In the history section, they must locate the absence they wish to justify and click on the paperclip icon.

  • If the paperclip has a yellow dot with an exclamation, it indicates that no documents have been uploaded. This means that the absence is still pending justification.
  • If the paperclip has a blue dot with a number, it means documents have been uploaded, and the absence is justified.
