Can my team take half a day off as compensation for working on a public holiday?
Of course! This option must be configured in advance by the account administrator when creating the calendar. First, the administrator must activate the option "Allow requesting half a day's holiday as compensation for working on a public holiday", from Configuration >> Calendars >> Public holidays >> Click on the three dots >> Edit >> Activate switch.


Then, to complete the process, the administrator must choose between "Calculate based on the daily schedule" or "Calculate based on the weekly schedule".
As a result of this calendar configuration, the employee will be able to choose between a full day or half a day off when requesting time off as compensation for a public holiday worked.
