Problems solving
What are theoretical, overtime or complementary hours?
The theoretical hours are the hours that an employee must complete in a determined period, they are calculated according to the schedule that the employee has assigned and the absences such as holidays and leaves from work that the employee has configured. For example, the employee has a schedule of 8 hours from Monday to Friday and by the end of the week, they will have 40 hours of theoretical hours.
Overtime is the extra hours that employees work, once their total theoretical hours have been exceeded. For example, the employee has a 40-hour working week and has worked 46 hours, so in this case, the employee will have 6 hours of overtime.
Complementary hours only apply to workers with an indefinite part-time contract.
You will find these concepts in Clock ins/outs. Once you have added the schedule to the user, Sesame will calculate the theoretical hours that the employee should work and will show them in the clock ins/outs.
