How does default expiration work in Boost models?

The expiration date is automatically assigned when you create a model in Boost. This means that, from the moment of creation, the system sets a closing date of 30 days. After that, the model will automatically close and change to the Finished status. If the model is still in draft and the expiration date has already passed, sending or activating it will be blocked.

For example, if you create an Engagement model on September 9, Boost will set October 9 as the closing date. On that day, the model will close automatically, and anyone who hasn’t responded will no longer be able to do so. However, as an administrator, you can reactivate it if needed.

Available options

  • Keep the default closing date: the model will close automatically after 30 days. If it’s in draft and the closing date has already passed, the model will remain as a draft, but you won’t be able to activate it until you update the date.
  • Manually modify the closing date:
    • By clicking on the closing date banner inside the model, the model Configuration will open. From there, you can adjust the date to fit your needs.
    • You can also modify it directly by following this path: Model creation >> Configuration >> Scheduling.

  • Disable the closing date: from the model Configuration section, you can disable the closing date option.

⚠️ You cannot publish or reactivate a model if its closing date has already passed.
