How can I upload an expense note?

You can easily record your expenses from the Sesame app. Here’s how to do it step by step:

  1. Open the Sesame app and go to the Expense control section.
  2. Tap the Add expense button and select the option Add expense.

  1. You can either:
    1. Upload an image of the receipt or invoice in PDF, JPG, or PNG format.
    2. Take a photo on the spot.
    3. Or, if you don’t have the receipt, mark it as lost.
       
  2. Once you upload the image, our OCR smart reader will automatically scan and fill in the details for you in real time. While it’s processing, the expense will appear as Adding expense in your Expenses list.

The fields completed automatically are:

  • Total amount (*)
  • Company name (*)
  • Date (*)
  • Payment method
  • Category (*)

The fields you need to complete manually are:

  • Option to mark it as a personal expense (if applicable).
  • Expense description.
     

⚠️ Remember: fields marked with (*) are mandatory. If they’re not completed, you won’t be able to save the expense.

 

 

  1. When everything is ready, tap Add to record the expense.
