It depends on the type of policy assigned to your profile:

Time-off policy. Your balance can only be used as time off.

Remuneration policy. Your balance will be paid directly in your payroll.
- Hybrid policy. Both options are allowed. In this case, your company will decide whether you can request the conversion freely or whether it requires your manager's prior approval.
