How can I manage access to employee data?

From the Data privacy section, you can control which employee information is available to users assigned to a role, whether it’s General or Specific.

Go to: Configuration >> Roles and accesses >> [Role name] >> Data privacy.

Once inside, you’ll be able to navigate through different sections and select the information that users with that role can access. These are the available sections and some of the data they include:

  • Personal data: ID type and number, date of birth, nationality, address, etc.
  • Work data: job title, contribution group, professional category, Social Security number, bank account, etc.
  • Custom fields.

For each data point, you can independently enable or disable two actions: view and edit.

Keep in mind:

  • Any changes you make will apply automatically across all sections of Sesame where that data can be viewed or edited.
  • Settings are applied per role, not per individual. This means all users assigned to the same role will "inherit" the same data privacy level.
