What’s the difference between a Legal Representative and an Authorized Signatory?
During the process of opening your Wallet account, you’ll be asked to identify the role of the account holder. This allows us to verify that the person completing the process has the necessary authority.
Legal Representative
This is the person officially listed in the company’s legal documentation as having the highest authority to represent the company and make decisions on its behalf.
Authorized Signatory
This is the person who, while not the legal representative, has been formally granted permission (through a power of attorney) to act on behalf of the company within certain capacities.
