How can I finish opening my Wallet account if I started before September 30, 2026?
Since September 30, 2026, the Wallet account opening process asks for some new information. If you started opening your account before that date, here’s what to do depending on where you left off:
If you started the form but didn’t submit it
You won’t lose anything: everything you’ve already saved is kept. When you return to Wallet, you’ll see some new empty fields that you’ll need to complete before submitting:
- Your organization’s regulatory classification (step 2).
- The gender and U.S. person declaration (FATCA) for each real owner (step 3).
- If you’re a company, an association, or a charity: at least one owner marked as a Legal Representative (step 3).
Once everything is filled in, click Request verification and continue as usual.
If you’ve already submitted your request
You don’t need to do anything. Your request will continue under the previous process until it’s resolved, by December 31, 2026 at the latest. You won’t need to fill in any new information.
If you submitted your request but didn’t finish registering with Swan
You can finish it as before, from Wallet. In this case, you won’t be required to have a Legal Representative among the owners.
💡 Not sure where your account opening stands? Go to Wallet: you’ll see the step where you left off or the status of your request.
