How can I clock in/out using a QR code from the app?
To use this type of clock in/out, you must have access to both the mobile app and the tablet.
Follow this step-by-step guide to clock in/out using a QR code.
- Log in to the Sesame mobile app.
- Go to the Apps section in the bottom menu and tap the Clock in/out tool.
- Enable the switch to show the widget on the homescreen.
- On the widget, tap the QR code icon. This will open your camera.
- Go to the tablet device indicated by your administrator and scan the QR code displayed on the tablet.
- Once scanned, your clock in/out will be registered successfully.
- To pause or clock out, tap Pause (yellow icon) or Clock out (red icon) from the app.
Please note: the QR code displayed on the tablet must be refreshed every few minutes. Otherwise, scanning it with your mobile phone will not allow you to clock in.
