Who can view the results of a survey?
In Sesame, who can access the results of a survey depends on the role and permissions they have active. There are three visibility levels:
1. Administrators with full access
General roles (Owner, Administrator, and HR Administrator) can view the results of all surveyed employees in the company. No additional configuration is required.
2. Supervisors with access enabled
Any specific role with the View survey results permission enabled can be assigned as a supervisor in a survey. In the processes where you assign them, they will have access to company and employee results, with data limited to the employees assigned to them for supervision.
- They will only see the results of their supervision group.
- The overall company average will always be shown in full so that they can compare their data against the workforce as a whole.
- This access is enabled from Configuration >> Roles and access >> Access levels.
⚠️ If you disable this access for a role, anyone assigned that role will:
- No longer appear as an option when selecting supervisors in new surveys.
- Be automatically unassigned from any survey in which they were already acting as supervisors, and will immediately lose access to those results.
3. Surveyed employees
In a survey, each person will by default see the responses they themselves have submitted; no additional access is needed to view them. What does depend on the administrator is the score.
