How are public holidays worked reflected?
Public holidays worked on the Sesame calendar
In the case of working on a public holiday, the day can be given back as a justified absence. For example, on January 1st the employee works but would have a day off to request it at any time.
This could be configured from the administrator view by clicking on the public holiday in the user's calendar and selecting the correct option or from the employee view by requesting to work on a public holiday.
a. Work on a public holiday and compensate for a day off at another time. With this option, the employee will work this day and keep the day off to request it at a later date.
b. Work on a public holiday and request a compensatory holiday. With this option, the worker will work on this day and request at that time the day on which they want to take it.
