How to fix NFC clock in/out issues on tablets

If you're experiencing problems with NFC clock ins/outs in Sesame, here are some useful recommendations to help you identify and fix the issue.

NFC usage recommendations

  • Make sure your tablet supports NFC technology (some iPad models do not include NFC).
     
  • The Sesame Wall app must be installed on the tablet.
     
  • NFC cards or tags must operate at a 13.56 MHz frequency and be compatible with supported standards.
    The most common are:
    • Mifare Classic (recommended for Android devices).
    • Mifare Desfire (recommended for iOS devices).
       
  • You can use existing NFC cards from your company as long as they are compatible.
     
  • Sesame does not supply NFC cards. These must be purchased separately by the client.
     
  • The system is compatible with both iOS and Android.
