What information is shown in payroll tables?
Once you have installed Payrolls, you will have access to multiple tables where all salary-related data and all information impacting your employees' payroll is organised and managed.
Hires and Terminations
In the Hires >> New users section, you can add the relevant contracts for the new employees you have created in Sesame.
From this section, you can:
- Create a new contract for the employee from "Add contract".
- Select the current contract from existing contracts via "Add contract".
- Access the employee's profile directly by clicking their name.
- Search for employees by name.

Hires
In Hires >> Hires, you can view new users from the moment you assign them their first contract.
You can easily identify them in the period corresponding to their start date, as the "Hire type" column will show the "New contract" label.
From this section, you can:
- Access the employee's profile directly by clicking their name.
- Filter by workplace, department, recruitment manager, and contract start date.
- Search for employees by name.
- Manage access from the key-shaped icon.
- Validate data.
- View the validation history.
- Add comments to hires.
- View a summary of all data.
Terminations: upcoming
In the Terminations >> Upcoming section, you can view employees whose contracts will be ending soon.
From this section, you can:
- View upcoming terminations by date.
- Filter by workplace and department.
- Search for employees.
- Manage access.
- Add a contract.
- Deactivate the employee. When you do so, they will move to the "Deactivations" subsection.
Terminations: deactivations
In the Terminations >> Deactivations section, employees who have already been deactivated will appear, whether from the "Upcoming" section or from "Contracts".
From this section, you can:
- View dates.
- Filter by workplace and department.
- Filter by deactivation type: voluntary or involuntary.
- Search for employees.
- Manage access from the key-shaped icon.
- Validate data.
- View the validation history.
- Add comments.
Payroll preparation
In the Payroll preparation >> Payroll preparation table, you'll find a detailed summary of all the key payroll-related data for each of your employees.
This table serves an informational purpose and is populated with all employee data previously created in Sesame. You can configure it to edit, view, and add supplements in a simple and organised way.
From the eye icon labelled "Display", you can choose which types of data you want to appear in the payroll preparation table:
- Personal data: workplaces, departments, groups, code, social security number, identification, bank account, contract start date, contract end date, probation period, and hourly rate.
- Work data: days worked, days worked (+5h), holidays by days, holidays by hours, late arrivals, paid absences by days, paid absences by hours, unpaid absences by days, unpaid absences by hours, unjustified absence, public holidays worked, non-working days worked, theoretical hours, overtime hours, paid hours, and sick leave.

Salary: gross annual salary, gross monthly salary, gross daily salary, number of payments, salary, remuneration, prorated payments, non-prorated payments, deductions, perceptions, and additional supplements.

In the Payroll preparation >> Salary supplements table, you'll find a summary of all the supplements that have been assigned to your employees. These must first have been created from the employee's personal profile or from General supplements in the Company section of Sesame's general Configuration. These will be either variable or fixed supplements.

From the Payroll preparation table, you can always create additional supplements, which will appear in the Payroll preparation table.

Salary raise
This table lists all employees who have received a salary raise in the selected month.
Temporary incapacity and Absenteeism
This table shows all employees who have recorded unjustified absences or sick leave.
The administrator can view this information to apply the corresponding payroll deductions.
From this table, they can:
- Validate absenteeism records and absences, as well as any modifications to them.
- Filter by record type, absenteeism or absence, workplace, and department.
- Search for employees by name.
Advances and Garnishments
This table shows any amounts advanced by the company to employees or those unpaid for any reason.
You can add a new advance/garnishment from this section using the "Create" button and assign it to an employee.
Flexible remuneration
In this table, employees receiving part of their salary as flexible benefits (e.g., health insurance, childcare, meals, transportation, language classes) are shown. Data can be imported automatically if providers are Flexo/Cobee, or manually.
In this table, you can:
- Import data.
- Filter by provider.
- Filter by location or department.
- Search for employees.
- Create new providers.
- Display exempt values.
- Filter by date.
- Validate data.
- Review history.
- Add comments.
Benefits
This table includes the benefits the company provides to employees, affecting payroll, making it useful to view them here. Please remember to create and assign benefits to employees via General settings >> Benefits >> Create benefit.
You can create these types of benefits:
- Co-pay: shared between the employee and the company.
- Employee: paid by the employee.
- Services: service paid by the company.
You can choose to include start and end dates for benefits using the calendar icon.
Supplements and Variables
This table displays fixed and variable supplements employees receive during the set period.
You can validate all salary supplements and download them if you need to share this information with other platforms.
In this table, you can:
- Validate supplements.
- Assign codes to supplements.
- Filter by supplement status.
- Add filters for workplace and department.
- View disabled users.
- Search for employees.
- Filter by type of supplement.
- Filter by frequency.
- Manage access.
- Download data.
- Validate data.
- Review validation history.
- Add comments.
