How do I assign the people responsible for handling requests?

This is the second step in creating a custom request: assigning the people responsible for approving or rejecting employee requests.

After setting up the form, you'll see the Approval section, where you have two options:

  • Specific person: choose this option if a single person will be responsible for approving or rejecting all requests received through this mailbox. This option is ideal for simple requests that only require validation from a direct manager or the HR team (for example, workwear or office supplies).
     
  • Approval flow: choose this option when you want multiple people, in a predefined order, to manage and approve or reject the requests. This option is ideal for requests that require validation from different departments or hierarchical levels (for example, training budget approval, event authorizations, or high-value purchases).

Got it? Click "Confirm" and you’re all set! The request type will appear in your management table and will be available in the employee profile, allowing them to start submitting their requests.
