Can I choose how time is counted in clock ins/outs with incidents?

Absolutely! In Sesame HR, you can now decide how time is counted when a clock in/out includes an incident (such as missed clock ins/outs, out-of-schedule clock ins/outs, and more).
This new setting gives you the flexibility to adapt the system to your company’s internal policies.

What options do I have for incident tracking?

You can choose between two modes for counting time when a clock in/out includes an incident.

1. Count as worked time

How does it work? This is the default behavior. Even if the clock in/out includes an incident, the time from that moment is still counted as worked.

2. Do NOT count as worked time until the incident is resolved

How does it work? Time from a clock in/out with an incident is not added to the worked hours until an administrator reviews and resolves it.

Important: Once the incident is resolved, the system will count the time from the original clock in/out time, not from when the incident was resolved.

Step-by-step: How do I configure incident tracking?

  1. Go to Configuration in your Sesame account.
  2. Click on Automations.
  3. Select the Clock ins/outs section.
  4. Choose how you want the system to handle clock ins/outs with incidents.
