What's the difference between Global and Segmented automations?

In Automations >> Clock Ins/Outs and Automations >> Notifications, there are two types of configuration: global and segmented. Here's what sets them apart.

  • Global configuration
This is the configuration applied by default to all employees, regardless of which management level they belong to. It applies across the entire company, making it the quickest and simplest way to manage your team's automations.

  • Segmented configuration
This is a specific configuration applied to the workplaces, departments, or groups (segments) of your choosing. Each segment can be assigned independently, giving you granular control for specific cases.

Note

If you apply a new configuration to employees who already have existing settings, the system will notify you so you can decide whether to keep the previous configuration or apply the new one.
