If the company has a break with a time limit and, once it ends, the employee does not clock back in, what happens and how should they clock in afterward?
Case 1: automatic break
When the break has a time limit and is set as automatic, once the configured time ends:
- The system will automatically close the break.
- A new work clock in will start automatically, without the employee needing to take any action.
Case 2: break with a time limit, but not automatic
If the break has a time limit but is not configured as automatic, once the set time ends:
- The system will automatically close the break.
- The employee will remain without an active clock in until they manually do so again.
