How do I link my employees to Suprema devices?
What’s the first thing I need to do?
Once you have hired the biometric clock in/out service with Suprema, if you already have a provider, both your provider and the Sesame team will configure everything so you can start linking your employees.
In this case, you do not need to complete any prior technical installation steps: your provider and Sesame will take care of everything described in point 1 of this entry.
Steps to link your employees with Suprema
- Go to: Configuration >> Devices >> Suprema.
- In this view, you’ll find a list of all employees you have created in your Sesame account.
- On the right, you will see three columns that correspond to the biometric clock in/out methods available.
Remember: Suprema biometric clock in/out is available for all plans, but only the administrator can activate it if the Sesame team has previously enabled it.
Available biometric clock in/out methods

Fingerprint: allows employees to clock in and out using their fingerprint. Click Link. A message will automatically appear on the Suprema device screen prompting the employee to place their finger. Follow the instructions, and you're done!

Card: employees can clock in/out using preconfigured cards. When you click Link card, you will see the list of available cards. Select the one you want to assign to the employee.

Facial recognition: allows employees to clock in/out using facial recognition. Click Link. A notification will appear on the Suprema device screen indicating that the employee should position their face in front of the reader. Once recognized, the employee will be linked.
What else can you do from this section?
In addition to linking employees, this section also allows you to:
- Unlink employees from the device.
- Change the assigned clock in/out method.
- Check each employee’s linking status.
