How do I personalize automation settings for an individual employee?

If you need to apply an automation configuration exclusively to one employee, you can do so from their profile.

Go to Employees >> [Employee name] >> Automations.

There, you'll see two sections, each with a toggle:

  • Inherited: the automations applied to the employee are those configured globally (the same for the whole company) or in a segmented way (specific to a workplace, department, or group). The system assigns these automatically.
  • Personal: you can configure automations exclusively for that employee, independently of any changes made to global or segmented automations.

Use the toggle to enable whichever option you prefer, and that's it!

Want to know which configuration is applied to employees by default? Here's how it works:

When creating a new employee

  • If the employee is not assigned to any workplace, department, or group, the system will apply the global configuration.
  • If the employee is assigned to a single workplace, department, or group, the system will apply that unit's configuration.
  • If the employee is assigned to multiple workplaces, departments, or groups, the system will apply the configuration of whichever unit comes first alphabetically.

When removing an employee from a department or group

  • If the employee is removed from a workplace, department, or group but remains assigned to others, the system will apply the configuration of whichever remaining unit comes first alphabetically.
  • If the employee is removed from their only workplace, department, or group, the system will apply the global configuration.
