Who can validate or reject overtime requests?

By default, the system assigns the clock ins/outs validator as the person directly responsible for managing overtime requests. If there is more than one designated validator, approval works the same way as clock ins/outs validation. That is, as soon as one validator approves the request, it moves on to the next. Likewise, if a validator rejects the request, the process stops.

You can also decide how the validation chain works by creating a specific approval flow and adding it in step 3 of the policy creation process.

Any user with a management role over the employee (for example, Workplace administrator) can manage, validate, or reject overtime requests, even if they have not been specifically assigned as their clock ins/outs validator.
