How are results filtered by evaluator type or specific evaluator?
You can narrow down the results by evaluator type (managers, colleagues, self-evaluation, or direct reports) or even by a specific evaluator. The calculation does not change; it simply restricts which scores are included in Step 1.
Filter by evaluator type
With this filter, the system recalculates each person's individual average using only the scores from the selected type. Everything else (group scores, total score) is derived from there in the same way.
| Evaluated employee | Manager A | Manager B | Filtered average |
| Tom | 4 | 3 | 3.50 |
| John | 3 | 3 | 3.00 |
| Mary | 4 | 4 | 4.00 |
| Operation | Result |
| Sum of filtered averages for Q1 (3.50 + 3.00 + 4.00) | 10.50 |
| Overall average for Q1 with "Managers" filter (10.50 / 3) | 3.50 |
Without the filter, the overall average for Q1 was 3.78. With the managers filter applied, it drops to 3.50 because only their scores are taken into account.
Filter by specific evaluator
If you select a specific evaluator (for example, "Manager A"), the system uses only the scores that person gave to each evaluated employee. In this case, each evaluated employee has a single score per question, so there is no averaging in Step 1; the individual average is directly that score.
Example — "Manager A" filter on Question 1:
| Evaluated employee | Manager A | Filtered average |
| Tom | 4 | 4.00 |
| John | 3 | 3.00 |
| Mary | 4 | 4.00 |
When you filter by a specific evaluator, each person's individual average is directly the score that evaluator gave them. Nothing is averaged in Step 1.
