How do I delete a fingerprint/card/facial method?
You can always delete any of the three available biometric clock in/out methods (fingerprint, card, or facial recognition).
- Unlink the employee’s current biometric method
First, you must remove the method that was previously assigned. Go to: Configuration >> Devices >> Suprema, and click the green circle corresponding to the method you want to unlink (fingerprint, card, or facial).
- Create a new biometric method
A) New fingerprint method
- Click the + symbol in the Fingerprint column.
- Select the device you want to link.
- A screen will appear in Sesame. Then, go to the Suprema device and ask the employee to place their finger to register the fingerprint.
B) New facial recognition method
- Click the + symbol in the Facial column.
- Follow the same process as above. The employee must stand in front of the device to register their face.
C) New card method
- Click Create card and assign it to a device.
- Then, in the employee list, click the + symbol in the Card column to link the card to the corresponding person. Remember: each card is unique and must be assigned individually to each employee.
