How do I delete a fingerprint/card/facial method?

You can always delete any of the three available biometric clock in/out methods (fingerprint, card, or facial recognition).

  1. Unlink the employee’s current biometric method

First, you must remove the method that was previously assigned. Go to: Configuration >> Devices >> Suprema, and click the green circle corresponding to the method you want to unlink (fingerprint, card, or facial).

  1. Create a new biometric method

A) New fingerprint method

  • Click the + symbol in the Fingerprint column.
  • Select the device you want to link.
  • A screen will appear in Sesame. Then, go to the Suprema device and ask the employee to place their finger to register the fingerprint.

B) New facial recognition method

  • Click the + symbol in the Facial column.
  • Follow the same process as above. The employee must stand in front of the device to register their face.

C) New card method

  • Click Create card and assign it to a device.
  • Then, in the employee list, click the + symbol in the Card column to link the card to the corresponding person. Remember: each card is unique and must be assigned individually to each employee.
