How can I enable the "Clock in/out" button in the app for all employees?

As an administrator, you can decide whether the "Clock in/out" button should automatically appear on the Home screen of your employees’ app. Follow these steps:

  1. Access your admin panel in the web version.
  2. In the side menu, go to Configuration >> Automations.
  3. Find the Section visibility tab.
  4. Enable the option "Show the "Clock in/out" button on the app home screen".

 

How does this setting affect employees?

  • For new employees: they will automatically adopt the configuration you choose. This means that if the setting is enabled, they will see the "Clock in/out" button on their home screen from day one.
  • For employees who joined before the change: they will keep their current view (whether the button was hidden by default or customized by them), so their previous settings and routines are not altered.

 

This setting defines the default behavior. Your employees will still have full freedom to enable or disable this widget individually from the settings in their own app, allowing them to adapt Sesame to the way they work.
