How can I reset employees' overtime balance to 0 on the first day of the year?

To reset employees' overtime balance to 0 on the first day of the year, follow these steps:

  1. Verify that the overtime balance is enabled in the platform configuration (Configuration >> Schedules >> Overtime balance).

  2. Compensate any extra hours. To reset the overtime balance to zero, each employee's theoretical hours must exactly match their recorded hours. If there's overtime or a positive balance, it must be compensated before the year ends.

This will ensure the balance is reset to 0 at the start of the new year. If you need help configuring the overtime balance or compensating extra hours, don't hesitate to contact our support team.
