A user has clocked in/out but it is not classified as remote work

If an employee has registered a clock in/out but it is not classified as "remote work", it may be due to the app not detecting the location properly during the clock in/out. Below, we explain how this issue may have occurred, so that you can guide your employee in resolving the situation:

The phone's location was not active when clocking in/out

  • The app uses the mobile device's GPS to determine if the clock in/out corresponds to remote work. If the location service was not active, the system will not be able to register the clock in/out as remote work.
  • Solution: instruct the employee to ensure that location (GPS) is enabled on their device and to keep it active whenever clocking in/out.

The clock in/out cannot be modified manually

  • Due to the system's policy, it is not possible to modify an existing clock in/out to classify it as remote work.
  • Alternative solution: instruct the employee to clock out and then clock in again. Before doing so, it's important to ensure that:
    • The location service is enabled.
    • The employee has a stable internet connection.
