I want to assign holidays but the system won't let me
If the system is not allowing you to assign holidays, or a request gets stuck, check the following:
The system won't let me assign holidays
- If the error "The selected date is not available with the chosen configuration" appears, make sure the employee has a schedule assigned for the day on which you want to book the holidays.
- If the employee has a schedule assigned, check that there are no other absences already scheduled for that same day.
The request is stuck in "Pending" status
- Check that the assigned approver has active access to Sesame and can see pending requests in their inbox.
- Review the approval flow configured in Configuration to make sure there is no level without an assigned approver.
- Check that the approval flow is not blocked by a level that requires a specific approver who currently does not have access.
If the issue persists after reviewing these options, contact our support team to look into the incidence.
