Can I set up the compensation time period?

Of course you can! In Sesame there are lots of different configurations to compensate for the surplus time generated by your employees. You can choose the option that suits you best and all of them, in turn, offer many possibilities.

The first decision you have to make is whether you want to configure when to compensate overtime. This will allow you to customise the period in which you want to compensate your employees.

These are the different configurations and their options:

  • Annual: calculate the surplus in arrears (at the end of the previous month) or up to yesterday. This is the configuration with which the Overtime balance function has been operating up to now. The following configurations are new.
  • Monthly: you can choose to either compensate for the excess time in the calendar month or set your own start time for the month.
  • Fortnightly: you can filter the excess time of your employees every fifteen days.
  • Weekly: you can either compensate for the excess time within the calendar week or set your own start time for the week.
  • Daily: you can filter day by day the overtime balance of your employees on the overtime balance screen.
  • Free: you can freely filter the specific period in which you need the overtime to be compensated.

These settings will be displayed in detail in the compensation menu when you proceed to compensate overtime either with time off or with remuneration.
