How do I view the 9-box matrix in Company results?
The 9-box matrix is an analysis view within Company results that lets you cross-reference two groups or subgroups of evaluation questions in a visual 3x3 matrix to identify performance patterns across your workforce at a glance.
- Go to Evaluations from the main menu.
- Select the evaluation you want to analyze and open its Company results.
- Within the view, click on "9-box" in the floating menu.
- Select the two groups or subgroups you want to compare: one for the horizontal axis and one for the vertical axis. If your evaluation has more than two scored groups, you can edit them freely.
- (Optional) Apply filters by workplace, department, group, or evaluator type to segment the view.
- Click on any point in the quadrant to see the evaluated employees in that area and access the details of their averages on the selected axes.
- Use the zoom on any section of the quadrant to get a closer look, or use the built-in search to quickly locate a specific person.
⚠️ The 9-box is only available in evaluations that have at least two groups or subgroups of questions with scores. Groups containing only text or organizational chart questions will not appear as axis options. If an evaluated employee is missing a score on one or both axes, they will not be included in the visualization.
