Why is my clock in/out classified as remote work?
This happens because the clock in/out was registered outside the workplace range, or the system detected it that way. Below, we explain why this occurs and how you can solve it:
The phone's location was not active when clocking in/out
- The app uses your mobile device's GPS to determine if the clock in/out corresponds to remote work. If the location services were not active, the system will not be able to register it correctly.
- Solution: make sure location (GPS) is enabled on your device and keep it active whenever clocking in/out.
The clock in/out cannot be modified manually
- Due to the system's policy, it's not possible to modify an existing clock in/out to classify it as remote work.
-
Alternative solution: you can clock out and then clock in again. Before doing so, ensure that:
- Location services are enabled.
- You have a stable internet connection.
If the problem persists, contact your administrator so they can configure your workplace location correctly.
