How does the privacy of the channels work?

In Community, you decide how the privacy configuration of each channel you create is set. 

  • Private channels are only visible to people with a higher role, the role of communicator, and those who have joined as members. This means that these channels will not appear in general search results or in the channels explorer list. 
  • Public channels are visible to everyone working at the company, allowing anyone to join them. This means that these channels will appear in general search results and in the channels explorer list.
