How can I choose who receives moderation alerts?

You can decide which people receive a notification every time a moderation alert is generated. That way, only the people in charge of reviewing content receive the notice.

Steps to follow

  1. Go to Community >> Moderation >> Alert recipients. You'll see the list of people who already receive alerts.
  2. Search for and select the people you want to add. You can only choose people who have the Community configuration access.
  3. To remove someone, click Delete and confirm with Delete recipient. That person will stop receiving notifications, but will still have access to Moderation through their role.

If no recipient is configured, alerts are saved in the Moderation panel, but no notification is sent.

Keep in mind

  • Notifications arrive within Sesame (in-app) and include a direct link to Moderation.
  • If a person loses the Community configuration access, they are automatically removed from the recipient list.
