Can I automate the deletion of data for old candidates?

Yes, you can automate the deletion of candidate data. To do so, go to Recruitment >> Configuration >> Data management. You'll see that the system distinguishes between 3 candidate profiles, each with its own retention periods:

  • Candidates who have accepted the privacy policy; default retention period: 6 months.
  • Candidates who have accepted the policy and belong to a Talent Pool; default retention period: 12 months.
  • Candidates who have not accepted the privacy policy; default retention period: 6 months.

Once the data retention period has expired, you can define how many additional days to wait before deleting the profile from the system. There is also an independent deadline for each profile type here. You can adjust these according to your internal policy and the legal deadlines applicable to your sector.
