How do I assign shifts in a timetable?

To assign shifts, open the timetable and, from the Employee view, you have two options: use the 'Add' button in the toolbar or click directly on the cell where you want to place the shift.

In both cases, you can choose between a shift template or a custom shift.

Shift template (repeated use)

Click on the cell in the timetable where you want to place the template, choose the 'Shift template' option, and then select the template you want. You can also create a new template; see this article for more details.

Custom shift (one-off use)

Create a shift for a specific occasion by filling in the following details:

  • Name
  • Abbreviation
  • Dates
  • Time slot
  • Breaks
  • Activities
  • Employees
  • Comment (optional)

Click 'Save' to apply the changes.
