What tools can I find in the shifts timetable for managing shifts?
At the top of the timetable, you’ll find a series of tools designed to help you manage your team’s shifts more easily and efficiently.
View type
Sesame allows you to view timetables in three formats: daily, weekly, and monthly. Choose the view that best suits your planning needs.

Search and filters
The toolbar includes a search bar and filters so you can quickly find people or the information you need. A direct and practical way to work!
Viewing options
Configure how you want the timetable to be displayed:
- Show by name.
- Show by abbreviation.
- Show time slots.
- Show duration.
- Show labels.
- Show activities.
- Show hidden employees.
- Show employees without shifts.
- Show contract hours (regardless of whether theoretical hours are calculated based on the assigned schedule or shift, or on the contract).
- Include theoretical hours on public holidays.

Alerts
If there are any errors in the timetable (e.g., less than 12 hours of rest between shifts or weekly/annual hour limits exceeded), Sesame will display a red warning icon in the toolbar along with an "Unfulfilled restrictions alert".
Download timetable
You can download the timetable in PDF format, ideal for sharing with your team or printing a physical copy if needed.
Assign shifts
Click on "Assign shifts" to choose between:
- Templates (for repeated use): select the template and then the cell where you want to apply it.
- Custom (for one-time use): create the shift by selecting the date, time, and other required details.
Publish timetable
You can publish timetables by period: daily, weekly, or monthly.
